BARRHEAD TENNIS CLUB
ABOUT US
In 2008 East Renfrewshire Council approached parents of children attending tennis coaching and encouraged the formation of a tennis club which is now known as Barrhead Community Tennis Club. The aim was to provide continuous tennis coaching opportunities for children throughout Barrhead, East Renfewshire.
In partnership with East Renfrewshire Council, Barrhead Community Tennis Club and the Tennis For Free Charity, we are looking to start a tennis revolution in Cowan Park and engage the local community in offering quality free and low cost coaching and play opportunities for everyone.
The tennis courts are now upgraded to All New Weather facilities. These are new durable and easy maintained courts with the aim of encouraging more participation and allowing our coaches and players to promote the club bringing the Community together through the GREAT GAME of TENNIS.
At the heart of our tennis services is a FREE weekly coach led tennis session from 1.30pm-3.30pm every Saturday available for all ages and standards. The session is particularly family friendly, so adults and juniors alike should come along and enjoy the tennis on offer. We provide all equipment such as balls and racquets. To get started, simply register yourself on this website and take a browse around it.
