The Barrhead Community Sports Hub (BCSH) is a constituted group made up of East Renfrewshire local sport clubs.  The group is funded by Sports Scotland and is working in partnership with ERC Sports Development Team to offer a wide range of sporting activities and encourage participation to grow our sporting legacy's. The Sports Hub is here to enable a pathway creating opportunities in sport whether through volunteering, recreational fun or training to compete, advice, support and direction through a team of highly experienced contacts who are making sports happen.

 

Our Community Sports Hub is based in Barrhead, our home environment and is bringing local people together to provide a home for local clubs and sports organisations.

 

Our aim is to make it easier for for people and organisations to get information, support and advice on a wide range of sports and physical activities to make it easier to get involved and engaged in an active and healthier lifestyle.

 

This BCSH (Barrhead Community Sports Hub) is following the five principles:

 

• Growth in participation

• Engage the local community in sporting activities

• Promote community leadership in sport

• Offer a range of sporting opportunities

• Bring all appropriate (key) partners/ groups/people together.
